Tim founded Circular City in 2019 after noticing the problems of single use plastics in Hong Kong. A former UK based subsea engineer, he has been an active educator teaching product design in Asia.
He specialises in Design Thinking, Design for Circular Economy, Mechatronics, and application of emerging technologies. He holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and a PGCE in Design Technology.
Debbie spent over 10 years in corporate development and investments before transitioning into leading operations and strategy for technology startups. She is passionate about bringing positive changes to organisations, communities and the environment through technology.
She holds an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelors in Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.
Ankit started his career in a global hedge fund before embarking into the world of startups in 2010. He spent most of the last decade building and scaling consumer marketplaces and communities in Asia. Till date, he has led 5 products to market.
He holds a Masters Degree in Innovation & Business from the University of Nottingham.
